Quarterly, we hold events known as Community Gatherings. For Community Gatherings, we have one party across the whole parish, and it is divided into a variety of homes in different neighborhoods. We believe that we are called to love our neighbors, and that we can do this literally by knowing and reaching out to those in our geographical area. Different neighborhoods have a specific host home, and parishioners will receive an invitation to their local host home weeks before the event. Save the dates for the date and time will be published beforehand in our church publications. Parishioners and newcomers are invited to go to the host home to meet new people or to discover St. Paul’s friends that they may have never known as neighbors!
This is a wonderful opportunity for newcomers and parishioners to meet others in their geographical community, and for parishioners to catch up with others they care about that they may not have spoken to in weeks, even though they live so close together. We live in a busy time, and Community Gatherings offers a fun opportunity to slow down and build community with friends, new and old.
