About Worship Services

We believe that coming together to honor the Holy Sacraments and experience spiritual formation collectively is a crucial and meaningful element of the Christian experience. We host a Rite I and Rite II worship service each Sunday morning, and offer our Rite II service virtually through livestream.

Understanding Episcopal Services

Rite I Services

Rite I refers to the traditional language rites from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer of the Morning and Evening Prayers, the Holy Eucharist, and the Burial Office. The Rite 1 liturgies reflect the language and and piety of the Elizabethan era and the first Book of Common Prayer.

Rite II Services

Rite II refers to the contemporary language rites from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer of the Morning and Evening Prayers, the Holy Eucharist, and the Burial Office. The Rite II liturgies reflect the influence of the liturgical movement and contemporary theology. These liturgies also contain more inclusive language.

Special Events

Baptisms

We offer instruction, preparation, and baptism for seekers of all ages wishing to be brought into the fullness of Body of Christ. Saint Paul's follows The Episcopal Church's baptism calendar which includes 4 main baptism days across the year - the Baptism of Our Lord, the Easter Vigil, the Feast of Pentecost, and All Saints' Day. Contact one of our clergy for more information.

Weddings

We are glad to celebrate the sacrament of holy matrimony with those wishing to immerse their union in a faithful community. Along with the ceremony, our clergy require and lead pre-marital counseling for all couples wishing to be married at Saint Paul's. Please contact a clergy person for more information.

Funerals

Saint Paul's is honored to help celebrate the lives of those we love but see no longer. Please reach out to the church office or a clergy person if you or someone you know is in need of end of life care or funeral planning. We stand ready to walk beside you every step of the way.
