Lenten Silence (Advent Room)

Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. (March 1- 29)

“Be silent before the Lord God!”  Zephaniah 1:7

Are you in need of quiet, space, and a time to contemplate? Do you want the opportunity to stop for a while?  Lent can be the time to acknowledge God’s Majesty and blessings, to admit faults and the need for repentance, and to give thanks for  God’s healing, redemptive grace.  The ultimate Love, the gift of Himself - once crucified, dead, buried, now risen -can be accepted in faith, hope, and truth…

“Be still and know that I am God!”   Psalm 46:10

Lenten Silence will begin on Thursday, March 1st at 12:15 p.m. in the Advent Room.  Its duration will be 30 to 40 minutes. Noon Daily Devotion from BCP will begin the session, followed by a period of silence for prayer and contemplation and end with a brief meditation/prayer.

                          In faith,
