Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Waco and for taking the time to visit our website. As you read through these pages you will learn about how we worship, learn, grow, and connect with each other and in the world around us. You’ll also see ways in which you can get connected and serve in the community yourself.
St. Paul’s has been part of the fabric of Waco for many years, and we strive constantly to bring God’s presence in ways that are relevant to how we live today.
What can you expect if you visit St. Paul’s? First, you will see diversity as many come together as one. You will see inquisitive minds, as we are all seekers of knowledge and a better understanding of God’s plans for our lives—individually and as the church. We especially hope you will see a place where you fit in and can share in meaningful worship.
As a visitor you might ask: What is it like at St. Paul’s on Sunday mornings? It’s busy! The Episcopal tradition is rich in its liturgy and you may choose from three different worship services: 8:00AM, 9:00AM, and 11:00AM.The 8:00AM service has traditional language and no music. The 9:00AM service is contemporary language and features music and many families. The 11:00AM service features traditional language and our full choir. We believe in Christian formation for all ages, so there are a variety of study opportunities, plus a nursery for the little ones.
Please take a few minutes to learn more about us. We’d be glad to put you on our mailing list so you are up to date on church events. During the summer months some of our service and event times shift, so check back frequently for news and event announcements. Our clergy
and staff are always ready to answer your questions.
Once again, we welcome you to St. Paul’s!
