YOUTH MINISTRIES
youth ministries
The Episcopal youth community exists to glorify God by our words and actions, to serve others, to share the good news of Christ, and to strengthen our relationships with one another and with God. A new youth website is in the works, so stay tuned!
For more information on the Youth Ministry activities click on "Downloads" and then click "Youth Ministry." There you can find St. Paul's new blog, calendars, newsletters, acolyte schedules and more!

Wednesday Night: Bible Study
Issues Teens Face Every Day: How many of you wish that someone could help you understand why parents are the way they are, why your classmates pick on you if you don't have the "latest" handbag, or just be there to help you talk through your problems? Well, we are going to do just that. We will look at various issues that teenagers face every day and discuss ways to handle them. We will also use Scriptures to see how knowing God's word can help you through different situations. Issues we will talk about include: school, parents, dating, siblings, faith, peer pressure, media pressure, and conflicts. Also, we will talk about other issues that the youth are worried about in their own lives. The class will d end on Wednesday, May 14th.

Missions
See below about the mission work that the youth of St. Paul's completed last year. This summer we will go on a week-long mission trip to Austin with Group Workcamps Foundation to work on various community service projects. We also have resumed the monthly tours of local organizations and working with them. Stay tuned to calendars and this website so you can join in as we help others, both in Waco and away.
Last March we worked with Mission on the Bay of St. Louis, MS, to help with the hurricane recovery efforts along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We worked hard, but the experience was one we won't soon forget! During the summer of 2007 we traveled to Houston, TX and worked with the Cathedral Urban Service Experience. There we had the opportunity to work in soup kitchens, food pantry, clothing distribution centers, and other many experiences with the homeless within the inner-city Houston area.
